This was one of Alex's first flies he ever tied. Not based on any patterns, but rather something he tied up himself to learn how to tie on different materials onto a hook. He used yellow and black calf tail for the tail, yellow chenille for a body, and a built up black head from thread, with a flat silver tinsel ribbing. The fish didn't seem to care that much that the tinsel had come somewhat loose and that Alex had not used any head cement!
